Randy Waples

Hall of Fame driver Randy Waples joined Woodbine as a full-time on-air Racing Analyst in 2022. Known as one of racing’s most colourful personalities on and off the track, Waples has driven the winners of 6,645 races and $131 million. Waples has won many of Woodbine’s marquee Standardbred races, including the Pepsi North America Cup (2012), Maple Leaf Trot (2009, 2010, 2011), Canadian Pacing Derby (1997, 2015) and Metro Pace (2015).
